Abdulrahman Telfat is a distinguished HR leader with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field. Holding a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from Qatar University, an Executive MBA from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom, and certifications including CIPD Level 5 from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Level A and B Certified in Occupational Testing from the British Psychological Society (BPS), Abdulrahman has demonstrated exceptional skills and knowledge throughout his career.

Abdulrahman currently serves as the Director of Qualifying & Skill Development at the Ministry of Labour. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in empowering the workforce and spearheading initiatives to enhance skills development within the labour sector. His efforts extend to facilitating job seekers' access to new career opportunities through dedicated programs, which he collaboratively designs with educational and private sector institutes.

With notable roles in private sector organizations such as Sidra Medicine, Qatar Foundation, and Qatar National Bank, Abdulrahman has proven his ability to drive strategic HR initiatives and foster organizational growth. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping talent acquisition strategies, organization planning, and employee development practices.

Biography:

Dr. Arshad Jamal serves as the Dean of Academic Affairs at QFBA-Northumbria University in Qatar. He previously held various senior positions including founding Dean and Director of Research and Education at Northumbria University London Campus. He has substantial experience in academic leadership, fostering research culture, strategic planning, people development, programme development and teaching. Arshad holds a PhD in Information Systems and Computing from Brunel University, UK and a Masters in Interactive Systems Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) , Sweden. He is an internationally recognized researcher and academic with a wealth of industry and consultancy experience. He has worked with leading UK companies including British Telecom, Microsoft, Cisco, and Lloyd’s Bank to design innovative academic degree apprenticeship programmes including MSc Digital Technology Solutions, MSc Strategic Leadership Senior Leader, BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Technical Professional and BSc (Hons) Project Management Degree Apprenticeship. He has also worked in the IT industry as Chief Technology Officer and led teams to deliver large digital transformation projects.

He is an Associate Editor of International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics and served as reviewer in highly ranked journals. Arshad has published research in highly ranked peer reviewed journals including Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Information Systems Frontier, Journal of knowledge Management and Journal of Enterprise Information Management. He has also published papers in peer reviewed conferences and authored many book chapters and edited books. Arshad has delivered many keynote speeches in leading peer-reviewed conferences. He has also examined many PhD and DBA candidates. Arshad has held Chief External Examiner position at Manchester Met university and external examiner position at Staffordshire University.

Biography:

Khalid Saif Al-Sulaiti assumed the position of Director of the Governance and Disclosure Department at the Qatar Financial Markets Authority in April 2023. He is involved in the regulatory and administrative aspects of the authority's operations, including the implementation and development of corporate governance system by monitoring companies and entities subject to the authority's supervision, and ensuring their compliance with disclosure principles and governance regulations.

Al-Sulaiti joined the authority in 2018 as the Manager of the risk unit, bringing over 19 years of practical and managerial experience in internal control, risk management, internal audit, anti-money laundering, and counter-terrorism financing.

Al-Sulaiti holds a master’s degree in risk management from De Montfort University, United Kingdom, earned in 2016, and a bachelor’s degree in financial management in 2012, in addition to several professional certifications in various fields such as internal auditing and fraud operations.

His academic qualifications are supported by numerous professional training certifications, including programs in auditing, risk management, and anti-money laundering.
